Deborah (Debbie) Ann Kukert joined God in heaven September 2, 2013 at St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Debbie was born August 21, 1968 in Orange County, CA. to Neal and Judith Jacobson. Debbie grew up in Fargo, ND and attended school at Holy Spirit Elementary and Shanley High School, graduating in 1986. She continued through life marrying Christopher Ricca and they raised two precious daughters, Christina Ashley (March 1, 1992) and Alexandra Nicole (December 2, 1993). Debbie met the love of her life, Wesley A. Kukert and they were joined together on November 27, 2010.

Wilfred "Bill" J. Oster
Wilfred "Bill" J. Oster, 79 of Lidgerwood, ND passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at his home in Lidgerwood. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Lidgerwood with Fr. Robert Smith as celebrant and burial with military honors by the Lidgerwood American Legion Bullis Post #84 and the North Dakota National Guard will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lidgerwood. Visitation will be Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at St. Boniface Church. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church. Pallbearers will be: Brady Gabel, Brandon Gabel, Haley Gabel, Ben Reinke, Carly Reinke, Spencer Reinke, Luke Oster, Bethany Oster & Caitlin Gabel.

Wilfred (Bill) Jerome Oster was born October 20, 1933 to Anthony, Sr. & Frances (Gaukler) Oster, on a farm near Tyler, ND. In 1938, the family left the farm and moved to Lidgerwood, ND. He attended kindergarten in a rural school near Great Bend, ND, finished elementary school at St. Boniface Catholic School, Lidgerwood, and graduated in 1951 from Lidgerwood High School. After graduation, he worked for Maack’s Grocery Store and various other jobs until entering the U.S. Army in 1954. Upon completion of basic training, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, then went over seas to Korea for a 16 month tour of duty, until his discharge in 1956. When returning to Lidgerwood, he purchased a tavern from Bob Knaust.

Janet Howe Jordheim
Janet Howe Jordheim, age 82, departed her earthly life on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, to return to her Creator. For a number of years the state of her health had slowly declined, which she accepted with inner strength and God-given grace.

Janet Beldon Howe was born on January 12, 1931, in St John’s Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota. She was the daughter of George Coleman Howe and Esther Talcott Howe, longtime residents of Fargo and Casselton, North Dakota. She attended Clara Barton Elementary School, as did her children and some grandchildren. Janet briefly attended Central High School in Fargo. She then attended St. Mary’s Hall, an Episcopal girl’s school, which is the sister school of Shattuck in Fairbault, Minnesota. Janet graduated from the University of Montana, having been awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
