Harold Dana Crosby, Jr.
San Francisco Architect Harold D. Crosby Jr. died peacefully on April 29, 2013, having almost reached his 91st birthday. Harold, known to friends and family as "Bro" and "Hal" was born in Fargo, North Dakota on May 16, 1922 to Harold D. Crosby and Margaret Campbell.

Harold started his study of architecture at North Dakota State College in 1939. He was president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon in 1940. He worked for Boeing Aircraft as a tooling engineer between 1942 and 1944, whereupon he joined the Army as an engineer stationed in Manila, until his honorable discharge in 1946. Thereafter, he returned to finish his studies at North Dakota State College, receiving his B.A. in Architecture in 1948.
