ESPN picks downtown location for broadcast, upsetting some Bison fans
Fargo - Producers of ESPN’s College GameDay picked downtown Fargo as the backdrop for its Saturday broadcast, a decision that caused many North Dakota State University fans to call for a flag on the play. NDSU announced on Monday that the popular pre-game college football show will air from the corner of Third Avenue North and Broadway, which is more commonly known as the U.S. Bank Plaza area.

Ernest L. Brager, 50, Cooperstown, ND passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 near McVille, ND as a result of a truck accident.

Ernie was born December 7, 1962 in Mayville the son of Marvin and Elvina (Gleason) Brager. He grew up in Blabon, ND. He attended school in Hope, ND graduating from Hope High School in 1981. He attended Wahpeton State School on Science graduating with a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He returned to Hope where he worked with his father in the sanitation business.

Lois Morsch Sobolik, 89, of Moorhead, MN, died peacefully Friday, September 6, 2013, in Arbor Park Living Center in Moorhead, surrounded by her family.

Lois Kathryn Sundby, the daughter of Anton and Caroline (Eken) Sundby, was born October 5, 1923, on the family farm in Traill County, ND. She was raised there and graduated from Hillsboro (ND) High School in 1941 and then attended business college in Fargo, ND. On January 17, 1946, she was united in marriage to George J. Morsch and they made their home in Moorhead. George died in 1986.
