Wayne, age 79, of Lisbon, ND, passed on December 26, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family under the wonderful care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Wayne Allen Freeberg was born June 11, 1934, to Winnie and Marguerite (Glynn) Freeberg in Sargent County, ND. He grew up and attended School in Aliceton township. On May 4, 1963, he married Gail Kilbride at St. Mary’s Cathedral church in Fargo, ND. They were blessed with four daughters. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past May with all their children and grandchildren.

Roger Andrew Tollefson
Roger Andrew Tollefson, 82, Bismarck, died December 24, 2013 in a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Interment will be Monday at 1:00 p.m., at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Roger was born August 26, 1913 in Austin, MN to Andrew and Nellie (Berge) Tollefson. He was raised and educated in Minnesota and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1949. He joined the US Army in 1950 and served until 1953. After his honorable discharge, he taught at Hanson Mechanical Trade School for fifteen years. In 1961, he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he devoted the rest of his life.

Clayton R. Jorgenson
Clayton Russell Jorgenson, 86, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN. Clayton was born November 8, 1927 to Rosa and Carl Jorgenson of Rockwell Township, Norman County, Minnesota. He attended Twin Valley Public School until June, 1943. In 1943, he moved with his family to Seattle, Washington. He attended West Seattle High School and graduated from Ballard High School, Seattle, in 1947. He went to California and worked at Armor and Co. in Los Angeles during the summer of 1947. Returning to Seattle, he began working at Boeing until 1958.

Clayton was an active member of Denny Park Lutheran Church in Seattle. He met Doris Dolva at Denny Park, and they were married on January 13, 1957 at Hawley Lutheran Church in Hawley, Minnesota. In March of 1958, they moved from Seattle to Hawley where he was employed by OK Diner. Clayton took a Chef Management course at Moorhead Technical College. He worked as a chef at a few cafés in the area, then bought The Diner and renamed it CJ’s Café. In 1989, he sold CJ’s Café and retired. Clayton and Doris have two sons: Russell, born in 1958, and Roger, born in 1960.

Jeffrey Dale Torreson
Jeffrey Dale Torreson, 45, Fargo, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Sanford Palliative Care. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 16, 2013, at 1:00 pm at Milnor Lutheran Church, Milnor, ND.

Jeff was born August 21, 1968 in Fargo, to Dale and Luanna (Odegard) Torreson. He grew up and attended school in Milnor, ND. He also attended NDSCS, Wahpeton, NDSU, Fargo and received a degree at Moorhead Technical College, Moorhead, MN. With a passion for computer technology, Jeff held various positions in North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana, before finally settling in Fargo. He was currently employed by IAIA (International Association for Impact Assessment) in Fargo as a Web Developer. He loved his position with IAIA and the opportunites it gave him, not only for technology advances but for its travel. He also was blessed to work with many warm and compassionate souls. Jeff had a passion for photography and was grateful for the opportunity to photograph many beautiful places in Switzerland, Ghana, Mexico, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
