Eileen J. Grommesh, 81, Fargo, ND, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Eileen Jeanette Arndt was born November 17, 1931 in Clinton, MN to John and Iona (Karow) Arndt. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1950. After high school, Eileen lived in Clinton and worked at a bank for several years before moving to Fargo to continue working at a bank. While attending a dance in Fargo, she met her future husband, Paul Grommesh.

Vernon Donald Pranke, 89, of Fessenden died June 22, 2013 at his home.

Vernon was born June 18, 1924 in New Rockford, ND. The son of Frank and Adella Pranke, he grew up on the family farm in Bremen township. After attending elementary school in rural Bremen, Vernon graduated from Fessenden High School in 1942 and attended the Minnesota School of Agriculture in St. Paul, MN for two years.
