Mary “Pat” Eastland
Mary “Pat” Eastland, age 73, of Larimore, ND, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Pat was born February 13, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Eugene and Marjorie (Andrews) Farley. When she was an infant, her family moved to Fargo, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Fargo Central High School in 1958. She then attended the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Grand Forks, where she received her RN degree in 1961. She enjoyed her job as an RN taking care of the sick and the injured. She worked as an RN in hospitals in Grand Forks, Jamestown, Fargo, Great Falls, St. Paul, Ft. Worth and Fergus Falls, a career which lasted 42 years.

Nick Alan Manston was born on February 24, 1965 in Moorhead, MN to Harlan Dale and Shirley Ann (Stulz) Manston. He grew up near Downer, MN on the family farm. He attended school in Barnesville and graduated in 1983. He attended Tech School in East Grand Forks, MN.

Nick worked with his dad on the family farm for many years. He raised buffalo and llamas. He also worked for Brian Halverson on the Potato Farm and the Mainline Potato Warehouse.

Erin Leone Vettel was born in Ada, Minnesota, on February 18, 1966. The daughter of Larry and Leone Vettel, Erin grew up in Mahnomen and graduated from Mahnomen High School, where her father was a teacher. She attended North Dakota State University and completed degrees in English and Architecture. At NDSU, Erin was active in a variety of organizations including Blue Key, the Honors Program and in Speech and Debate, where she met her future husband, Monte. They were married at the NDSU Neuman Center on July 24, 1987.

I took her to the vet twice for this, and he put her on medication. Ear drops are out of the question as she panics when I try to put the drops in. Lonnie J. Hendrickson
Lonnie Jay Hendrickson was born April 26, 1963, in Moorhead, MN, to Jerome and Kathie (Hughes) Hendrickson. He passed away, Monday, October 28, 2013, to enter into a peaceful place at the hands of our Savior Jesus. Lonnie is now free of the painful effects of his diabetes and many health problems from which he suffered.

Lonnie attended grade school at St. Anthony School in Fargo, ND. He worked for Swanson Construction, Fargo, and also worked and lived in Alaska. He loved fishing, especially while in Alaska. His last job was at The Pallet Company, Fargo, until he was unable to work anymore.
