Kenneth Haugen
Kenneth Haugen, 69, of Alexander, ND passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Essentia Health Center in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alexander. Pastor Mark Kindem will officiate and interment will be held at the Alexander Cemetery. Ken was born March 5th, 1943 in Williston to Orville and Dorothy Haugen. He grew up on the family farm south of Alexander and graduated from Alexander High School in 1961. He then attended NDSCS, Wahpeton, for two years and graduated with a Diesel Mechanics degree in 1963. He was also a member of the ND National Guard during this time. He married Louise Rolfsrud on June 12, 1964 in Watford City and they made their home in Fargo for five years where Ken worked for Butler Machinery. In 1969, they moved to the Haugen family farm near Alexander so Ken could continue the farming operation for his Dad. After 42 wonderful years of marriage, Louise passed away in 2006.

William H. Hampson Jr.
William H. Hampson, 69, of Twin Valley, Minnesota, died February 5, 2013 at Essentia Hospital in Ada MN. He was born July 16, 1943 in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of William Harold Hampson Sr. and Louise Feltus Hampson. He was in the food industry for over 40 years, working for such places as Kraft, Fairway Foods and Sysco.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dona Kay Mattson Hampson of 44 years; parents, William (Shorty) Hampson and Louise Feltus Hampson; son , Troy William Hampson; sisters, Susan Hampson, Sharon Hampson and Delores Hampson; and great grandchild, MiKayla Ann Hampson.

Marilyn A. Olson, wife of Roger, united in marriage August 20, 1955 and mother of Lynne (Glen) Olson-Rommesmo, Fargo; Heidi (Mike)Olson-Fitzgerald, Moorhead; Sara (Paul) Hanson, Alexandria; and, Mark (Sara) Olson, Walker. Education included a one room country school near Baldwin, WI and Baldwin HS. She graduated from UW Eau Claire fulfilling a dream of becoming a teacher. Marilyn taught public schools in Eau Claire, WI, St Paul, Gully and Moorhead, MN and Fargo, ND. While teaching at Probstfield Elementary in Moorhead, she was 'Moorhead Teacher of the Year 1981'. Marilyn was involved with various caring groups, church women circles, Via de cristo, and PEO. Member of Calvary Lutheran, Park Rapids, MN.

Warren Priebe
Warren Priebe, 92 of Fargo, ND formerly of Breckenridge, MN, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at Essentia Health. The visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00PM with a prayer service at 3; Sunday, February 3, at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. The funeral will be Monday, February 4 at 1:00PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Breckenridge, with Pastor Ryan Drevlow officiating. The interment will be at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Wolverton, MN at a later date.

Warren was born May 27, 1920 to Edward and Edith (Matz) Priebe Mitchell Township, MN. He attended country school and graduated from Wolverton High School. He was confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church. On November 7, 1943, Warren was united in marriage to Matilda Drewlow. They made their home on the family farm where Warren farmed the land. From this union, they were blessed with four children. After the early loss of his wife, he married Ruby Buth in September of 1974. Upon retiring from farming, they moved to Breckenridge.
