Letter: A ‘living wage’ as table talk for the season
During these 40 days before Easter, many of us will gather at tables for shared meals – in homes, churches, communities. People of my faith tradition often begin such meals by praying: “Come Lord Jesus, be our guest, and let these gifts to us be blessed.”

Zaleski: Intellectual fraud wins school vote
The phoniest argument “no” voters trotted out during their dishonest campaign to hamstring the Fargo School District’s budgeting flexibility was their self-righteous irritation that Davies High School was built without voter approval. Letter: A kinder legacy for religious life

Forum editorial: It’s illegal and it’s radioactive
One of the explanations voiced by at least one North Dakota official regarding discovery of a second illegal dump of low-level radioactive oil field waste, is that there is no in-state disposal site. It costs companies a lot of money to truck the stuff to legal landfills in Colorado or Idaho.

Letter: A more rational view of a God-given plant
Some doctors conveniently claim (Minnesota doctors’ views on medical marijuana differ, Mar. 10, Forum) they “don’t know the true risks,” regarding cannabis (marijuana), however, there is a number of irrefutable facts to lead a rational person to accept the medical use of the God-given plant.

Letter: Weather reporting advice for those eastern whiners
As a legal North Dakota resident living farther south, I get my news online – often from The Forum, whose western perspective I deeply appreciate. Your matter-of-fact weather reporting is a welcome contrast to mainstream media’s Snowmaggedon complex – the compulsion to make a mountain out of a snow hill on a slow news day.
