Moorhead baseball rolls D-G-F 13-2
MOORHEAD – Moorhead baseball had eight wins all of last season. With Tuesday’s 13-2 drubbing of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in six innings at Matson Field, the Spuds moved to 7-1 on the season. Not bad considering the Spuds returned just one regular starter.

Weather Talk: Looking back at first day of work at WDAY, in 1985
Monday, May 6, 1985, was my first day at work at WDAY-TV. I was a young meteorologist with a little less than one year of broadcast experience since graduating from Iowa State in 1984. I was given three days to learn the computer graphics system we were using at the time, which was not difficult owing to the 1985 technology.

Flood forecast fizzle won’t keep Fargo from relying on NWS
FARGO – It was a rough couple of weeks for the National Weather Service. As spring took forever to bloom and snow kept falling, weather service forecasters warned in mid-April that there was a 40 percent chance of the Red River topping 2009’s record 40.84-foot crest.
