Roger Andrew Tollefson
Roger Andrew Tollefson, 82, Bismarck, died December 24, 2013 in a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Interment will be Monday at 1:00 p.m., at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Roger was born August 26, 1913 in Austin, MN to Andrew and Nellie (Berge) Tollefson. He was raised and educated in Minnesota and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1949. He joined the US Army in 1950 and served until 1953. After his honorable discharge, he taught at Hanson Mechanical Trade School for fifteen years. In 1961, he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he devoted the rest of his life.

James Edward Lavelle
LAVELLE, James Edward, 59, of Lebanon, OH died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Born January 22, 1954 in Fargo, ND to James A. and Mary (nee: Emmett) Lavelle, he was a project manager for PWI Construction. A soccer and skiing enthusiast, he enjoyed designing and building homes and carpentry. He had a great love for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jeanne (nee: LeDoux) Lavelle, one son, James M. Lavelle of Lebanon, two daughters, Hannah Lavelle of St. Louis, MO and Ivy Lavelle of Lebanon, his mother, Mary of Fargo, ND, four brothers, Jack of Las Vegas, NV, Dan (Kim) of Fort Collins, CO, Chuck (Kris) of Fort Collins, CO, and Andrew of Seattle, WA, and four sisters, Lory LaPointe of Vermillion, SD, Kari Stoner (Steve) of Fargo, ND, Margy Furst of Bow, WA and Barb Houglum(Gregg) of Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Saturday December 28, 2013, from 5-7 PM, with service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Online condolences available at www.hoskinsfh.com. Brenda Mae Cossette
Brenda Mae Cossette, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away December 16, 2013 surrounded by loved ones at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND. She was 59.

Brenda was born on May 27th, 1954 in Moorhead, MN to John and Jeanette (Kluck) Schritz. She grew up on the family farm near Rothsay, MN and attended Barnesville High School, graduating in 1972. Following high school, Brenda attended Wadena Technical College and North Dakota State University where she earned Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting. Over the next 30 years, Brenda held a number of important human resources roles in Fargo, Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, and Fergus Falls where her passion, knowledge and expertise were true assets.
