Kari McLean, age 52, of Kindred, North Dakota, died on September 14, 2013, in a car accident in Clay County. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and mother to her family.

Kari Ann Brakke was born on October 19, 1960, in Fargo, ND, to Gordon and Shirley (Zentgraff) Brakke. She grew up and attended school at Comstock, Minnesota and graduated from Barnesville High School. She then attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, where she received her nursing degree.
