A Funeral Mass for Ervin Forster, 97, of Richardton, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Richardton with Father Boniface Muggli, O.S.B. and Father Stephen Kranz, O.S.B. con-celebrating. Burial will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation for Ervin will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19th at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton with a Rosary and Vigil Service being held at 8:00 p.m.

Mark Alan Pancratz, 59, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at his home in Edwards, Colorado.

Mark was born on June 5, 1954, in Fargo, ND, to Paul and Leota (Gallagher) Pancratz. He was raised and educated in Fargo, and graduated from Fargo Shanley High School in 1972. He attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, from 1972-1977 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Mark met his wife, Linda Olson, at UND and they were married on December 27, 1976. He attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and received a Master’s Degree in Education as well as attended the Gemmological Association of Great Britain in London, England receiving a Diploma in Gemmology in 1998.

When he recently shucked an ear of corn on one of the few plants that have produced one, it had about a dozen kernels – not surprising, given that a good rain last fell on his fields July 9.

William John “Bill” Klosterman, Sr., 85, of Wyndmere, N.D., died surrounded by his beloved wife, Florence and all his children at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, September 8, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge, Minnesota. Funeral mass will be Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Wyndmere, ND with Fr. Len Loegering as celebrant. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Wyndmere with military honors by the Wyndmere American Legion Brown Nelson Post #153 & the North Dakota National Guard. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at St. John the Baptist Church. Pallbearers are: Tony Schmit, Nicky Schmit, Michael Kidd, Jim Meiers, Claire Chamley & Emma Meiers. Honorary pallbearers are: Anyone who called him friend. Organist will be Kairouan Moffet with special music by Ellen Chamley.

Bill was born on February 17, 1928 at Wyndmere, North Dakota. He was the son of Joseph J. Klosterman and Celia Hedrick. He had four older brothers and sisters: Eugene (who was married to Marie Kuchera), Eleanore (who was married to Nicholas Schmit), James (“Jim”, married to Ruth Luidahl), and Ellrene (married to Toby Pinkham). All Bill’s brothers, sisters and parents preceded him in death.

Alan Duppler, 62, died September 7, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Moorhead, MN. Alan was born in Miles City, MT on July 12, 1951. He graduated from Baker (MT) High school in 1969 and attended Concordia College graduating Cum Laude with a major in English and a minor in Theater.

He married Norma Duppler on Feb. 24, 1973. Alan graduated from UND Law school in 1977. He worked as DJ at a radio station in Baker, MT during the summers while attending school. After law school he moved to Devils Lake with Norma. He worked in child support and enforcement. In 1981, they moved to Stanton and later Hazen, ND while he was working as States Attorney for Mercer County, ND.

Lorrine A. (Daniels) Johnson, 97, Fargo, died peacefully by her family and very special caregivers under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley; Sept. 5 , 2013, at Edgewood Vista, Fargo. Lorrine was born on December 28, 1915, to Jesse and Alma (Sherman) Daniels at Berlin, ND.

After living in Berlin for a few years, the family moved to Forman, ND. She attended Forman High (now Sargent Central) and graduated in 1933. After graduation she was employed in the Agricultural Adjustment Administration Office (AAA) in Forman until the time of her wedding.
