Glen "Bud" Benesh
Glen "Bud" Benesh, 84, Ada, MN, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Bridges Care Community, Ada, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Glen Vernon Benesh was born May 4, 1928, at home on the farm in Pleasant View Township, near Ada the son of John and Clara (Durling) Benesh. He attended school in Ada and later served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1952 as a Staff Sargent in the Korean War. He returned home to Ada where he farmed. Bud was united in marriage to Patricia Hellerud on March 26, 1955, in Ada. They made their home on a farm north of Ada. He was also employed by American Crystal Sugar in Crookston for over 15 years. They built a home in Ada in 1978 and have lived their since. Bud also enjoyed driving cars for the Ada Auto Dealers for many years after farming.
