Inez Zitzow, age 85, of Vergas, MN, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Essentia Health Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Vergas United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Vergas United Methodist Church with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Lillian (Lil) Hart
Lillian (Lil) Hart, age 98, passed away peacefully on January 30 in her home at Riverfront Manor in Pelican Rapids, MN.

Lil was born to Albert and Gertrude (Rierson) Johnson in the Hawley area. Lil was raised in Harwood and Fargo and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1931. She worked at Armour's Creamery (Fairmont) until her marriage to Cyril Robert Hart on July 2, 1938. She and Cy made their home in Fargo, and later moved to Moorhead, MN. Lil remained in Moorhead until moving to Pelican Rapids in 2009. Lil was a homemaker and loved to entertain family and friends. She was well known for creating and serving delicious hors d/ oeuvres. She will be remembered as a beautiful lady who always made a fashion statement. Lil had been a member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church since 1931 and was active in Circle for many years.

R. Orpha Amundson, 94, passed away January 29, 2013, at Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes.

Ruth Orpha Burud was born July 24, 1918, in Black Eagle, MT, to Oscar and Rachel Wenner Burud. Diagnosed with a serious heart condition as an infant, doctors gave her less than a year to live. With her parents and two sisters, Orpha lived on a homestead in Rudyard, MT until shortly before her first birthday when the family traveled to Ulen, MN.

Alta Alderman Eng Denver Co. Alta was born August 21, 1931 to Harvey and Minnie(Hope) Alderman in Fargo, N.D. She graduated from Oak Grove High school 1949, and worked for Newberry's Dime store in Fargo. Alta married Duane Eng in Fargo, 1959. Alta died January 30, 2013 in her Denver home surrounded by her family. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 6th in Denver Co.
