Nathan Keith Beach
Nathan Keith Beach left us unexpectedly on February 2, 2014 in Moorhead, MN. He was born on April 22, 1991 to Lisa Beach (Langager) and Keith Beach in Fargo, ND. Nate was the second of three children. He grew up in Moorhead and attended the Moorhead school system until he graduated in 2009. During high school he became WSI certified and life guarded each summer at the Dilworth pool. He spent many hours going above and beyond to ensure the pool remained open so children could have a safe place to have fun. While maintaining his role at the Dilworth pool, Nathan also took a position life guarding at the downtown YMCA, where he also taught multiple classes and certified lifeguards. After graduation he attended North Dakota State University and then Minnesota State Community and Technical College focusing on a degree within the medical field.

Nate enjoyed many things, especially his family and friends. He devoted many hours watching activities, lending a hand around the house, reaching out to others, telling stories and helping out with his godchildren whenever possible. During the summer, Nate spent many weekends at Big McDonald Lake. Sitting around the fire, tubing, boating and relaxing on the Sandbar were the highlights of his summers. With a personality that lit up a room, Nate made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed going to dances, cruising, being spontaneous, funny and making the best out of every situation.

Eugene Frey, 85, of Moorhead,passed away peacefully surrounded by family under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley on Jan. 28, 2014. Eugene was born at home in Moorhead to William (Bill) and Ellen (Olson) Frey on March 3, 1928. He was a lifelong resident of Moorhead.
