Margaret "Peggy" Lavelle
Our loving Wife and Mother passed away on October 15, 2013 in her Colorado home surrounded by her husband and family. Peggy (Margaret Patricia Manning) Lavelle was born June 10, 1930. She was the daughter of Ted and Minnie Manning. Peggy was raised in Fargo, ND where she met the love of her life, George Lavelle. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on September 10, 2013. George and Peggy raised their family in Fargo, in addition to enjoying their home in Big Sky, MT with family and friends. In 1994, they moved to their new mountain home in Colorado where Peggy enjoyed the beauty and spirituality of her mountain meadow. Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, George; her children, Susan (Gary), Bob (Traci), Patrick, Bill (Paula), Nancy (Ryan), David (Jane), Paul, Colleen (Kendall), Ted (Ann), Jeff (Jill), and Michael; her 25 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Sammy. She also leaves behind her brothers, Bob (Doris) Zimmer and Bill Zimmer, as well as many friends. Even in death Peggy continues to strengthen the love and bonds of her family.
