Lorraine Paulson, age 85, formerly of Fargo, ND, passed away September 18, 2013, at Mayo Health System in Eau Claire, WI, from complications of colon cancer.

Born in Waukegan, IL, on January 19, 1928, she was the daughter of Jon and Edna Nelson. She grew up in Lakota and Grand Forks, ND. She was married 64 years to Quentin Paulson also of Grand Forks.

Beverly Ann (Grant) Okke
Beverly Ann (Grant) Okke, 70, of Fargo, ND passed away on September 16, 2013 peacefully at her residence. Beverly resided in Fargo, ND for the past sixteen years. She married Walter P. Okke on February 4, 1961 in Moorhead, MN. Together they made their home in Glyndon, MN, on a farm and raised six children. Bev had multiple jobs throughout her life but the most memorable was working for the VA hospital.

She enjoyed gardening, bowling, bingo, recipes, crossword puzzles and reading books. Bev especially loved the holidays when the entire family would get together.

Malcolm S. Tweten
Malcolm Stuart Tweten, 88, of Fargo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2013. His loving wife of 62 years, June, was by his side when he passed at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo. The son of Sidney and Olga (Syverson) Tweten, Malcolm was born April 30, 1925, in rural Reynolds, ND. He graduated from Reynolds High School in 1941. After his father's death in 1948, Malcolm farmed with his brothers Obed and Kenneth. On June 16, 1951, he married June Gjelsness, of Reynolds, and together they raised seven children. They moved near Buxton, ND in 1954, where Malcolm continued farming, raising small grains and potatoes. Malcolm and June moved to Fargo in 1994.

In 1979, Malcolm and his brother-in-law Maurice Gjelsness founded NoKota Packers, Inc., in Buxton, ND, which specializes in washing, packing, and storing table stock potatoes, and still continues as a family business.

Tim Trapp
Tim Trapp, 57, West Fargo, ND entered into heaven on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. He lost his courageous battle with cancer but won his eternal victory with God.

Timothy Jon Trapp was born on November 23, 1955 in Valley City, ND to Myles and Lucille (Boom) Trapp. He was baptized in Marion, ND and attended school there until he moved to Valley City when he was in 8th grade. After graduating from Valley City High School in 1974, Tim graduated from Valley City State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. He married his high school sweetheart, Dawn Werkhoven, on July 24th, 1976 in Valley City. They made their home there before moving to West Fargo in 1987. Tim worked in sales including printing and insurance his whole life.
