Mr. Royal Heupel, 84 of Fargo, ND formerly of Rogers, AR passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Fargo ND. He was born November 26, 1929 in Eureka, SD to Julius and Ida (Guthmiller) Heupel. He along with his wife were the former owners and operators of Marcel Royal Beauty Academy in Rogers. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marcella Heupel.

Rich was born in Philip, SD on April 10, 1951. Son of Donald and Shirley (Bever) Burns. He graduated from Philip High School in 1969. He married Sheila Douglas in June 1991. Rich lived in Fargo from 1969 until April 2013 when he and Sheila made their home on Lake Ida, MN.

Kenneth O. Skarie
Kenneth Odell Skarie, 93, Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 peacefully in his sleep, at his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. He was born May 7, 1920 to Juel and Emma (Kjos) Skarie on the family farm in Balfour, ND. He attended Hubbell School District #27 for 8 years. Kenneth helped on the farm until his dad passed in 1940. He then took over the farm for his mother until 1943 when she passed.

On March 18, 1941 he married Dorothy Dolly Marthe in Karlsruhe, ND and they remained married until her death in 2006.

Charles A. Feste
Charles A. Feste, 85, of Fargo passed away on November 24, 2013. He was born October 27, 1928, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Joseph K. and Bertha C. (Wardeberg) Feste. Charles graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1946, and from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1950. Following college, he joined the armed forces and trained at the Officers Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Charles was assigned to the 9th Infantry Regiment of the Second Division and saw service on the front lines in Korea as platoon leader and as the Intelligence Officer of the Third Battalion of the 9th Regiment. Charles was awarded the Bronze Star Medal of Valor for his service; he was honorably discharged in 1953.

Charles married his college sweetheart, Carol Elizabeth Thompson of Bygland, Minnesota in October of 1953.
