Maughan returns to NDSU as senior associate athletic director for development
FARGO – North Dakota State turned to another ex-coach for its top athletic fundraising position. This time, the Bison also tapped a former athlete. Jack Maughan, who wrestled for NDSU in the 1980s before starting a long career at the University of Northern Colorado, has returned to Fargo and will take a position vacated when Erv Inniger retired last year. He is the senior associate athletic director for development, a position that carries an emphasis on large gifts – something Inniger was able to garner in his post-NDSU coaching career.

Perhaps the Michael Phelps-Ryan Lochte clash in the swimming pool will help us forget about our battle with rising prices in the grocery store. Perhaps watching Oscar Pistorius run around the track on artificial legs will motivate us to take a walk on our good legs.
