Thomas J. Sinner, 84, of Casselton, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of Sanford Health in Fargo.

Thomas was born on December 31, 1928 in the Sinner family farmhouse in Harmony Township near Casselton, ND. He attended school in Casselton, Sacred Heart Elementary in Fargo, St. John’s Prep School and St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN. He married Lois AuBuchon on June 13, 1953 at Immaculate Conception Church in Elmhurst, IL and served with the Air National Guard Unit during the Korean Conflict.

Clint Erbstoesser, 87, Hunter, ND died on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center – Prairie Village, Arthur, ND.

Clinton LeRoy Erbstoesser was born Oct. 25, 1925 on a farm south of Chaffee, ND. He attended country school and graduated from Chaffee High School in 1942. He worked on his uncle’s farm until age 18 at which time he was drafted into the Army on Nov. 1, 1943. He served in Ardennes, France, Rhineland and Central Europe with the 11th Armored Division during the Battle of the Bulge and rose from the rank of Private to Tech/5 and was discharged in April of 1946.
