Norma Clarice Romuld was born October 26, 1922, in Crookston, MN, to Emil and Freda (Wentzel) Romuld. Norma was baptized November 22, 1922, and confirmed May 31, 1936. She attended grade school and junior high school in Crookston.

In 1938, the family moved to McIntosh, MN, where she graduated from high school in 1941. Norma moved to California in 1942, where she worked in a defense plant for one year. She moved to Minneapolis, MN, in 1943, and worked for a short time at Honeywell.

Marjorie A. Hage
Marjorie Adele Hage passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Marjorie was born March 28, 1927 at Halstad, Minn., the daughter of Leonard and Alice (Viker) Arneson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Halstad Lutheran Church. She attended school at Halstad and Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND.

She was united in marriage to George Leland Hage on November 25, 1943. They resided in Halstad where they raised five children. Together they farmed, operated the Barnesville Bakery and Halstad Bakery, as well as Hage Trucking and Hage Insulation. Leland died October 17, 1987. Margie continued to reside in Halstad until 2012, at which time she lived with her daughter in Lake Park for a short time before moving to River Pointe in Moorhead, Minn.

In 1989, Mark married Melissa Mack in Pettibone, ND. In 1993, they moved to Tappen, ND where Mark was employed as a farm/ranch hand. The family moved to South Dakota, in 2005, where Mark continued to ranch. He was currently working at Dakota Manufacturing in Platte, SD.

Henry “Hank” E. Nelson, 78, of Hawley, MN, died November 8, 2013, in Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

Henry was born June 28, 1935, in Pelican Rapids, MN, and the first born, to Edwin and Violet (Gunderson) Nelson. He grew up in Rollag, MN, where he attended country school, later moving into Hawley where he graduated from Hawley High School. Following high school he joined the National Guard and served our country. One of the major roles he served in was being on a crew that helped revived Fargo after the 1957 tornado. Henry was a member of Rollag Lutheran Church where he was confirmed. Henry married Kathy Malakowsky on September 18, 1971. He worked for Burns Motors, Don Stone’s Motor and the DeForrest Iverson Farm.
