Karen J. Rebsom, 73, Fargo, ND died on Friday, March 14, 2014 at ManorCare Health Services, Fargo.

Karen Jean Ronning was born Feb. 28, 1941 at Valley City, ND to Theodore and Minnie (Gorden) Ronning. She attended school in West Fargo and then moved to Seattle, WA for a short time before returning to Fargo. She attended Interstate Business College. Karen married John Rebsom on Oct. 5, 1964 in Fargo. They lived in Grand Forks, ND, California, West Fargo, Finley and Watford City, ND before moving to Fargo. She worked at Larry’s Café in Watford City, Fetting Bakery in Finley, and as a housekeeper at the Radisson in Fargo. John died in 1995. Karen moved to the Fargo High Rise in 1996 and recently entered ManorCare.

William “Bill” Schultz
William “Bill” Schultz, 73, has gone to be at peace with the Lord. On March 14th, 2014, Bill passed peacefully with his family by his side. William Edward Schultz was born to Gertrude (Scarr) and Arthur Schultz on August 15th, 1940 in Little Falls, MN. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1958. Following High School, he enlisted in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Saratoga in the Mediterranean Sea.

When he returned from service in 1962, he spent time working at Crestliner and Larson Boats in Little Falls. In 1969, he moved to Moorhead, MN and began working at Silverline. He later worked at GNC, Portland Food Products, and Webb Industries until he retired in 2008. After he retired, he worked part-time at Lunde Automotive.

Dawn Marie Halvorson was born on October 11, 1952, in Fargo, ND, to Lloyd H. and Gudrun S. (Folden) Halvorson. She grew up and attended school in Hitterdal, MN. She married David E. Busby on October 18, 1969, and they lived in the Hitterdal area and had two children, Angie and Mike. They later divorced and she moved to Hawley where she had another son, J.J. Legler.

Wallace Beaton, 97, West Fargo, ND died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Sanford Health - Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

Wallace A. Beaton was born Jan. 5, 1917 at Fargo, ND to Frank and Ida (Dobrinz) Beaton. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from high school. Wally enlisted in the US Navy and served during World War II. Wally married Violet Krueger on Feb. 4, 1946 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fargo. They made their home in West Fargo and have resided at their current residence since 1956. Wally worked for Central Livestock at the West Fargo Stockyards for many years and prior to retirement was a cattle buyer. He also farmed for many years.
