Robbie Charles Lindell, 61, Fargo, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo. He was born on June 13, 1951 to Charles and Shirley (McPherson) Lindell in Grafton, ND. He grew up in Park River where he graduated from WCAS High School in 1969.
Following graduation, he went to Minneapolis for Airline Training. He worked for various airlines around the country from 1970 until his retirement in 2006. On January 29, 1977 he married Phyllis Nelson in St. Frances Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN.

Janice Torson
Janice Torson of Moorhead, MN passed away at Sanford Health on Thursday, April 18th. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Hazel Glasgow, and her siblings Audrey Tschache and James Glasgow Jr. She is survived by her brother Colin Glasgow, her daughters Jane Torson (Tom Reinertson) and Nancy Torson (Rick Stern), her son-in-law Terry Murphy, and her grandson Adam Torson. She was also blessed with step-grandchildren Elena (John) Dagit, Erica Stern, Ted Stern, and her great-granddaughter Lauren Dagit.
Janice was born in Barnesville, MN on September 9th, 1928, and spent summers at her family cottage on Pelican Lake. There she learned deep devotion to family and made lifelong friendships. In 1946 she graduated from Barnesville High School where she was the Homecoming Queen. She graduated from Moorhead Teachers College and married David Torson in 1950, and went on to teach school in Hillsboro and Barnesville. In later years she worked at the Midweek Eagle in West Fargo.

Robert “Bob” W. Peterson, 84, of Bismarck, passed away peacefully after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer on April 17, 2013.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Baptist Home Chapel in Bismarck with Chaplain Clyde Zimbelman officiating and funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1004 E. Harlan “Butch” Woken, 84, of Northwood, ND passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home in Northwood under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Funeral services will be held today at 2:00pm at Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northwood.
Harlan is survived by his wife Helen; children: Terry (Tim) Lee, Hillsboro, ND, Barb (Tim) Kraft, Casselton, ND, Scott (Kathy) Woken, Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Carissa (Scott) Olsen, Brenna (Ryan) Opdahl, Travis (Kristi) Kraft, Calvin (Jacki) Kraft, Taylor Kraft and Alex Woken; great grandchildren Riley, Madison, and Kennedy Olsen. Kenneth (Ken) Anderson was born Nov. 8, 1922 in LaMoure, ND, the son of Adolph and Clara Anderson. He attended grade and high school in Grand Rapids, ND, graduating in 1940. Following his graduation, he farmed in partnership with his father until 1943, when he enlisted in the U. S. Air Force.

Loyal Edward Busby, Jr., 87, Hitterdal, MN, passed away April 16, 2013, at his farm home in Goose Prairie Township where he lived his entire life.
Loyal was born July 2, 1925, to Loyal (Sr.) and Stella (Lundberg) Busby at home in Goose Prairie Township. He was baptized and confirmed in Salem Lutheran Church. He graduated as valedictorian from Hitterdal High School in 1943. Loyal married Doloris Hogenson July 29, 1944, at her parents’ home in Hagen Township. Loyal and Doloris shared 63 years of marriage and raised ten children on their farm near Hitterdal. Loyal farmed until he retired at age 75. In addition to farming, he worked 17 campaigns at American Crystal, did carpentry work and custom baling. Loyal married Ida Lewis June 5, 2010, in a lawn wedding at Loyal’s farm surrounded by their families.
