George Trupka
George Trupka, 83, Wahpeton, ND passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley through Friday, November 8, 2013. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 12 at 1:30 PM in the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton with Rev. Morris Stephens, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to Tuesday's service. A military Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton followed with a light lunch.

George was born on April 27, 1930 to Edward and Pauline (Pecka) Trupka in their home behind Central Elementary School. This was his home until he graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1948. He continued his education at North Dakota State College of Science and many locations throughout the United States. In 1951, he enlisted in the US Air Force, during the Korean Conflict, where he received his education in Instrumentation; he served in the Strategic Air Command on the B-47. George was then stationed in England where he met the love of his life Marie Perez, they were married on August 24, 1954 in London, he never left her side. They moved to Riverside CA where he was honorably discharged in February of 1955.

Thomas Drayton
Thomas Drayton died Tuesday, November 5th at Elim Nursing Home, surrounded by family and assisted by Hospice Care.

He was born on January 28, 1938 in Orchard, Nebraska to Gurney and M. Carol Drayton. He grew up and attended school in Orchard, Nebraska. He attended Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska and graduated from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology. He was a member of Acacia Fraternity while attending C.S.U. Tom served two years active duty and four years reserve duty in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a credit reporter for Dun and Bradstreet in Nebraska and South Dakota. Later, he worked for the State of Nebraska as a dairy inspector.

Ronald "Ronnie" D. Boutain
Ronald “Ronnie” D. Boutain, 68, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wed., Nov. 6, 2013, in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Ronnie was born on May 29, 1945 in Crookston, MN to Alexander and Sadie (Wilson) Boutain where he grew up and attended school. On June 8, 1976, Ronnie married Nancy Lamb in Sisseton, SD. Throughout the years Ronnie worked in farming, trucking and construction. He managed a dairy farm in Barnesville and Glyndon, where they did custom milking. He also owned a cleaning business in the Moorhead area. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking crafts.

Barbara de Celle ,90, passed away on Monday, November 4th, at her home in Reiles Acres under the care of Red River Valley Hospice. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 8th, at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Fargo, North Dakota.

Barbara was born February 27, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, to Alice and George Smith. She spent most of her career as an editor in California until she retired to Arizona to take care of her mother. She moved to the Fargo area 8 years ago with her family and loved to watch the sunsets over the plains. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

The funeral service for Norman Erber, 74, Oriska, ND will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley City, ND. Rev. Dan Faust will officiate and burial with military honors will be in Hillside Cemetery, Valley City. He died at his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley on November 3, 2013.

Visitation will be held in the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A prayer service will be held there beginning at 7:00. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Frances Ilene Klevgaard was born January 20, 1940, in Twin Valley, MN, to George and Signora (Volness) Klevgaard. She was raised in Felton, MN, where she graduated from high school. She later attended Josef's School of Hair Design in Fargo, ND.

Frances married Don Hatfield on January 28, 1961, in Felton, and they lived in Fargo for a time before moving to Moorhead, MN. She worked as a hairdresser and later as a waitress in Fargo.
