David A. Lonski
David A. Lonski passed away November 14, 2013, under the care of his family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

David Alan Lonski was born May 25, 1945 to John and Clara (Berg) Lonski in Bordulac, N.D. He moved to a farm near Oriska, ND at a young age. He attended school in Oriska, graduating in 1963. He attended NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND graduating in 1965. David was an active member of the Army National Guard in Valley City, ND from August 1966 to honorable discharge in 1970. On November 22, 1969, David married the love of his life, Dee Ann Sholts in Oriska, ND. They recently celebrated 43 years of marriage. David and Dee were blessed with a daughter Deborah in 1972 and a son Daniel in 1975.

Karmen H. Miller
Karmen H. Miller, 92 of Fargo, died peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Villa Maria Nursing Home with his children at his side.

Karmen H. Miller was born on September 8, 1921 to Emma and Leonard Miller at Davenport, ND. In 1922 the family purchased a farm near Marion, ND, where Karmen was raised and worked with his father and brothers. During his school years, Karmen was a starter on the basketball team, sang in a men’s quartet for community affairs, played trumpet in the band and raised and showed Angus steers with his 4-H club. The family attended Grace EUB Church where Karmen participated in the youth program and represented the church in a Summer Assembly at Jamestown College.

George Trupka
George Trupka, 83, Wahpeton, ND passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley through Friday, November 8, 2013. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 12 at 1:30 PM in the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton with Rev. Morris Stephens, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to Tuesday's service. A military Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton followed with a light lunch.

George was born on April 27, 1930 to Edward and Pauline (Pecka) Trupka in their home behind Central Elementary School. This was his home until he graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1948. He continued his education at North Dakota State College of Science and many locations throughout the United States. In 1951, he enlisted in the US Air Force, during the Korean Conflict, where he received his education in Instrumentation; he served in the Strategic Air Command on the B-47. George was then stationed in England where he met the love of his life Marie Perez, they were married on August 24, 1954 in London, he never left her side. They moved to Riverside CA where he was honorably discharged in February of 1955.

Thomas Drayton
Thomas Drayton died Tuesday, November 5th at Elim Nursing Home, surrounded by family and assisted by Hospice Care.

He was born on January 28, 1938 in Orchard, Nebraska to Gurney and M. Carol Drayton. He grew up and attended school in Orchard, Nebraska. He attended Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska and graduated from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology. He was a member of Acacia Fraternity while attending C.S.U. Tom served two years active duty and four years reserve duty in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a credit reporter for Dun and Bradstreet in Nebraska and South Dakota. Later, he worked for the State of Nebraska as a dairy inspector.
