Norene Abrahamson
Norene Abrahamson, 90, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Milnor, ND, passed away September 7, 2013 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo, ND, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Norene Agnes, one of three daughters born to Henry and Emma (Kuehn) Wohler was born February 15, 1923 on the family farm north of Cayuga, North Dakota, where she grew up. She attended country school before attending Milnor Public School for a short time. She was united in marriage to Adrian Abrahamson on July 9, 1945 at Webster, South Dakota. They lived on a farm northwest of Cayuga where they farmed and raised livestock, before moving to Norene's family farm five miles north of Cayuga. In 1987, they retired and moved into Milnor. Adrian passed away August 25, 1989. Norene continued to live in Milnor until July of 2004, when she moved to Riverview Place in Fargo, to be closer to her daughters. She enjoyed her time there until December 21, 2011, when she became a resident of the Villa Maria Nursing Home.
