Jeannine Carol Hinkley was born in Durand, WI on May 23, 1934 to Orville and Caroline (Kees) Hinkley. She graduated from Washington High School in St. Paul, MN and in 1952 she attended nurses’ training in Minneapolis, MN. Jeannine was united in marriage to Sherman Hoseth on June 5, 1954 in St. Paul, at her parents’ home. They spent their first winter of marriage in Phoenix, AZ with her grandmother. Sherman and Jeannine moved to the farm by Twin Valley in the spring of 1955, where they have resided for 59 years. Jeannine and Sherman enjoyed traveling and visiting family in Canada and later grandchildren in Canada, Europe, Mexico, and various states. They spent the past 20 winters in their home in San Juan, TX.

Orell Mesker, 83, of Ulen, MN died Thursday, March 25, 2013 in Sanford Health Systems, Fargo, ND.
Orell Lloyd Mesker, son of Lloyd and Anna (Orwald) Mesker, was born June 6, 1929 in the Twin Valley-Syre, MN area. He attended country school in the area and worked on the family farm. Orell worked on various farms until he moved to Portland, OR. He also spent time the Montana mountains cutting pulp. In 1957, he returned to MN and was employed at the Magnus Wefald farms near Hawley, MN until 1970 when he started working at the Felton Elevator. On January 28, 1989 Orell was united in marriage to Carol (Kellen) Rowland. He moved to Ulen and retired from the Felton Elevator in 1992. Orell was a talented metal worker making beautiful metal crafts and was a great handyman who loved to help his friends and neighbors.

Carole passed away April 16, 2013. Carole was born December 4, 1945 in Alexandria, Mn., to Orvin (Tudy) and Edna (Jegtvig) Ohnstad. She moved to Arizona in 1979 from Fargo, ND. Carole married Chris Richardson on December 3, 1983. She retired from the Arizona Dept. of Commerce in 2001. Carole is survived by her husband Chris, sisters Barbara (Don) Duval, Fargo, ND., Gerrie (Ed) Masseth, Litchfield Park, AZ., and nephews Wayne and Jay Duval. She was preceded by her parents, and brother Curtis. Per her request there will be no services. The family would like to give their deep appreciation to Hospice of the Valley during the

Leone married Otto Redmann on Feb. 14, 1936 in Valley City, ND. They farmed near Nome, ND until 1956 when they moved to Tower City, ND where they also farmed and raised turkeys. In 1979, they moved to West Fargo. Otto died in 1998. She moved to Sheyenne Crossings in Oct. 2010 and later to Elim Care Center in Sept. 2012.
