George R. Keeping, 68, of Hawley, MN, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the V.A. Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

George was born September 22, 1944 in Detroit Lakes, MN, to George L. and Alice (Carter) Keeping. He moved with his family when he was in 5th grade to a farm near Hawley, MN, graduating from Hawley High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era where he was stationed at a NATO Base in Italy. Following his discharge he worked for Northwestern Bell and later for Hawley Masonry. George was married to Deborah Kasin.

Blanche (Ludvene Milbradt) Waryan loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013 at the age 85 years.

Funeral service for Blanche will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 am from the First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes with Reverend Wade Dutton Officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dagny Svaleson
Dagny passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 83.

Dagny Forde was born on June 10, 1929, the daughter of Samuel and Hedvig (Clemenson) Forde in Hillsboro. She grew up in Hillsboro and received her education. Dagny was baptized, confirmed, and married at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro - a lifelong member. She was united in marriage to Alvin Svaleson on June 3, 1949 and they made their home in Hillsboro where they raised their family. Dagny loved the time she spent at the Hillsboro Day Care where she served as a foster grandparent. She also was a charter member of the Hillsboro VFW Auxiliary.
