Joshua Taylor Wold was granted his angel wings on June 10, 2013, following a serious motorcycle accident on June 2, 2013. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Josh had touched in some way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Josh was born on May 5, 1989 to Lynn and Sara Wold. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Abercrombie, ND. He graduated from Richland High School, Colfax, ND in 2007 and attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He was currently employed by Myron Tschakert Farms and had previously worked at Northland Truss Systems, Abercrombie.

Alfred M. Loktu
Alfred M. Loktu, age 88, of West Fargo, North Dakota died on June 6, 2013 at The Eventide Transitional Care Unit at Sheyenne Crossing surrounded by his loved ones.
Mr. Loktu was born on September 20, 1924 to Alfred and Julia Loktu (Frees). He served in the United States Navy for four years during World War II and retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Commander. A graduate of Concordia College, he earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Hawaii. He retired from the United States Public Health Service in 1979 where he had been a clinical social worker and health administrator. After retirement he worked three years in Saudi Arabia with the Bechtel Corporation as a public health administrator. Later he provided case management for Catholic Charities on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
