Rita Rose (Clingman) Hadland
Rita Rose (Clingman) Hadland 82, of Grand Forks, ND, went home to her Lord, Saturday August 31. She passed away at her home surrounded by family.

Rita was a very amazing woman. The love she had for her family and friends was astounding. Everything she took on she accomplished with grace and style. Rita was a superb hostess who loved cooking and baking her well-known brown and white brownies, her much-loved heath bars, and sour dough bread to name just a few. Rita enjoyed skiing, golf, horses, volunteering at the ND Museum of Art, her Republican involvement, and Bible study.

Steve Hlebechuk
Steve Hlebechuk of Fargo, ND passed away Sunday morning August 25, 2013 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo after battling multiple heath problems for the past year. He had spent most of the last year in the hospital and nursing home with many trips to the clinic and emergency room.

Steve was born January 13, 1960 to Virginia and Ted Hlebechuk in Fargo and was raised in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South. His first job was working for his Uncle Delano at Mr. Steak. He also worked with his father as a carpet installer and had his own carpet business for a time. He worked at Dan's Oil in north Fargo, the Bowler, and then did maintenance at the Econo Lodge in Fargo.

Sharon (Lefty) Efteland Lyng
Sharon died at age 75 at the Colony Assisted Living Center in Eden Prairie, MN, surrounded by her loving family and Hospice caregivers. Born in Fargo, ND, May 21, 1938 to Ernest and Virginia Efteland. The family moved to South Moorhead when she began first grade at Park School and was proud to be a 'Moorhead Spud' till she graduated in l956. After 2 years at MSU, Sharon traveled the world via Northwest Airlines as an airline stewardess (Stew) followed by employment as a personal attendant on a private company jet owned by Honeywell Corp., both located out of Minneapolis.

Alan Lyng (Rock Rapids, Iowa) and Sharon united in marriage on Oct. 20, l962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead where Sharon had been confirmed. They raised 2 wonderful daughters, Julie and Amy. The family celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Oct. 2012.

Curtis Kjonaas A.K.A. “Gentle Giant”, 68, was called to heaven Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Curt was born in Bottineau, ND on February 11, 1945 to Kermit and Myrtle Kjonaas. He graduated from Glenburn High School in 1963. After attending college he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and joined the farming business. His heart was in every seed he sowed. He enjoyed long hours in the field and always shared a friendly wave as he passed by neighbors.

Richard Heath Charbonneau was born June 28, 1967 in Belcourt, ND. He grew up going to West Fargo schools and was an avid wrestler. He remained a strong supporter of the sport as he coached and attended matches throughout his life.
