Mildred Thompson
Mildred Thompson, 87, Moorhead, MN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead.

Mildred Darlene Lawrence was born on August 25, 1926, to George and Irma (Eliason) Lawrence, in Moorhead. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1944. Mildred married Julian Thompson on September 12, 1947, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead, of which Mildred was a charter-member. She was YMCA Woman of the Year in 1980 and was a member of the Silver Follies for 15 years. Mildred's special project was mailing Christmas cards to all of the shut-ins in area homes.

Wallace Beaton, 97, West Fargo, ND died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Sanford Health - Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

Wallace A. Beaton was born Jan. 5, 1917 at Fargo, ND to Frank and Ida (Dobrinz) Beaton. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from high school. Wally enlisted in the US Navy and served during World War II. Wally married Violet Krueger on Feb. 4, 1946 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fargo. They made their home in West Fargo and have resided at their current residence since 1956. Wally worked for Central Livestock at the West Fargo Stockyards for many years and prior to retirement was a cattle buyer. He also farmed for many years.

Dorothy A. Hinz, 85 of West Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at ManorCare in Fargo.

Dorothy was born on February 16, 1929 in Mapleton, ND to Lester and Nellie (Bumgarner) Pyle. She graduated from high school in Mapleton in 1947. Dorothy married Marvin H. Hinz on October 23, 1948 and they resided in Mapleton for several years. Marvin and Dorothy owned and operated Spruce Hill Campground near Park Rapids, MN for ten years. They retired on Long Lake near Park Rapids in 1986 and moved to West Fargo in 2004. Dorothy especially enjoyed gardening and flowers of all kinds.

Agnes Kaber
Agnes Kaber passed away on February 24, 2014. Agnes was born on July 22, 1932 near Staples MN, the daughter of Anton and Anna Lanske. She attended school and grew up on a farm near Staples. During her early years she moved to North Dakota to help her sister Mary Mark and husband Ed Mark.

Agnes met Lawrence Kellerman while working for her sister and they were married on November 11th, 1951. They farmed together until Lawrence passed away in November of 1977. Agnes married Robert Kaber on April 9th, 1979. They made their home in Enderlin. Robert passed away in September of 1981. Agnes enjoyed her home in Enderlin until 2011 when she became a resident at Maryhill Manor.
