FARGO – Police say a body found during the search for a missing Fargo man on Monday has been preliminarily identified as that of 27-year-old Colter Brandon Dallman, who had been missing since early January.

Luci Spaeth Holte
Luci Spaeth Holte, 60, of Fargo, ND, died at her home on January 27th, at 2:50 am, with her children, family, and friends by her side.
Luci was born June 17, 1952 at the Ada Hospital, the fifth child of Gerard and Judy (Barrett) Spaeth. She graduated from Ada High School in 1970. Luci completed a science degree at Bemidji State College and a Nursing Degree at St. Lukes School of Nursing. On June 6, 1980 she began her employment at St. Lukes as a cardiac nurse and continued working for now Sanford (Day Unit), until her illness prevented it in October, 2012

Luci Spaeth Holte, 60, of Fargo, ND, died at her home on January 27th, at 2:50 am, with her children, family, and friends by her side.

Kenneth DeWayne Berry
Kenneth 'Tuffy' Berry, 81, of Shelly, Minn., died January 21, 2013 at the Halstad Living Center, Halstad, Minn. surrounded by his children.
Kenneth was born on April 16, 1931 in White Earth, Minn., the son of Myron and Lena (Fairbanks) Berry. He grew up in White Earth and attended school there until the death of his mother at age 12. He then moved to Kenosha, Wis. He came to Shelly the summer of 1949 when his father was managing and pitching for the local baseball team. There he met and fell in love with Irene Tronnes. They were married March 3, 1950 in Grand Forks, N.D. They settled in rural Nielsville, Minn., and then spent several years in Kenosha, Wis. before returning to reside in their remodeled one-room school house. When their home was destroyed in the flood of 1997 they moved to Shelly where he resided until moving to Halstad in Nov., 2011.

Arnold M. Rooks
Arnold M. Rooks, 89, Fargo, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Rosewood on Broadway.
Arnold M. Rooks was born to John and Amy (Stiner) Rooks on August 12, 1923 in Ryder, ND. He graduated from Fargo Central High School and was drafted into the Army on January 25, 1943. Basic training was at Camp Howze in Gainsville, TX. He married Mavis Snartland on November 15, 1943 at a church in Gainsville, TX. He was transferred to Louisiana for further training in engineering. He was a part of the Black Hawk Division and spent time in France, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. After a brief time back in the United States, he was sent to Luzon Island in the Philippines. He was discharged on February 26, 1946 and returned to Fargo. He started working for the Fargo Police Department on November 11, 1946 and retired on May 31, 1986 after 40 years and achieving the rank of Captain in the Records Department. He worked as a truck driver during beet harvest for several years. He was a member of the Elks, the Fargo Police Association, VFW, and Peace Lutheran Church. He is survived by two children: Gary (Carrie) Rooks, Fargo, ND, Dennis (Sonja) Rooks, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, David (Nancy) Rooks, Tyler, Emma, Molly, Michael (Tara) Rooks, Hannah, Evan, Bradley Rooks, Joshua (Jennifer) Rooks, Ashley, Erin (Taylor Ingnell) Rooks, Jacob (Lindsey) Rooks, Sumara Rooks.

Agnes M. (Plath) Hjort, 100, of Fargo, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at Bethany Retirement Living Center. She was born on November 1, 1912 in Park River, ND to George and Mabel Peck where she spent her childhood. Later, she attended college at the University of North Dakota, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1934. Following her graduation, she taught for a few years before becoming an extension agent in Grand Forks County. It was there she met Wilfred Plath, whom she married on July 3, 1940 in Park River, ND and they remained married until his death.
