Verlyn Chapin, age 77, a resident of Pelican Rapids, MN, died peacefully in his sleep on Tues, April 23, 2013, at his residence after a short battle with lung cancer.
Verlyn Duane Chapin was born on January 7th 1936 in Star Lake Township Ottertail County, Minnesota to Horace and Evelyn Marie (Swanson) Chapin. He was baptized and confirmed at Maine Presbyterian Church.
