Michael Stenerson
Michael David Stenerson was born September 14, 1975. Growing up, Michael and his family lived by Lake Park, MN, where he attended elementary school. He could be seen riding his banana seat bike with his dog Goldie following, often going fishing or visiting neighbors. Michael was joined by two siblings, Sarah, now of Little Falls, and Robert, of Moorhead.
Michael and his family later moved to Moorhead, where he graduated from High School in 1994. Michael enjoyed hockey and spending summers on Big Cormorant Lake. He could be seen from across the lake either skiing, jet skiing or pulling his siblings. Michael spent many hours helping and playing with his favorite uncle, Jay Stenerson.

GRAND FORKS – Danny Kristo’s goal is to play in the NHL. Whether that happens next season with the Montreal Canadiens remains to be seen. But Kristo will receive some valuable experience next month as the former University of North Dakota standout was named to the U.S. men’s national team on Thursday. The USA team, comprised mainly of NHL players, will compete in the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championship scheduled May 3-19 in Helsinki and Stockholm.
