Jeane E. Markegard, Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Bethany on 42nd Street, Fargo, ND, at the age of 87.
Jeane Elizabeth McPherson, the daughter of Andrew and Priscilla (McMillan) McPherson, was born in Moorhead on February 11, 1925. She grew up on a farm near Casselton, ND, and graduated from high school in Casselton. As a young lady she worked in the FM area for Western Union, and New York Life Insurance Company.
