Jeffrey M. Royal
Jeffrey M. Royal, 45, of Fargo, died Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Jeff was born on September 3rd, 1968, in Fargo, ND, to parents Ron and Lynette Royal. He graduated from Fargo South in 1986. He went on to graduate from Moorhead Tech with a degree in auto mechanics in 1989. He continued to further his education and training with several certifications. After spending 10 years as an auto technician at Goodyear, he went on to become the lead technician at Firestone.

Sidney Theodore Faldalen age 91, of Fargo and formerly of Noonan, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Bethany Retirement Living Center surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Noonan. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ambrose.

The funeral Mass for Carolyn (Carol) Marquardt Mock, Napoleon, ND will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Katherine's Catholic Church Cemetery, Braddock, North Dakota. She will rest beside her dear husband Frank.

Carol Marquardt was born April, 29th 1927 near Napoleon, North Dakota to George and Elizabeth (Kuhn) Marquardt. She was baptized, made her First Communion, Confirmed, and Married at St Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. She married Frank Joseph Mock on October, 7th 1947, following his return from the service. They moved to the country, farmed and ranched in Emmons County by Braddock-Kintyre, North Dakota. In 1952 Frank and Carol purchased the general store in Braddock. They owned and operated the "U Save" until 1980. Carol retired to the farm, but continued to be an active member of St Katherine's Catholic Church. She served on Church committees, Altar Society, Lector and Chairman of the Church Fall Festival. She supplied many of the weekly church altar flowers for many years. Carol was an avid gardener and loved the flowers she grew. She was president of the KEM Electric Ladies Group. Later she was appointed President of the North Dakota State Rural Electric Ladies Organization. She attended meetings all over from coast to coast. In 1989 she was appointed to the Emmons County Council on Aging. She served as Project Director of the State Transit Division of ND. In 1997 Carol was honored as "Alumni of the Year" for Napoleon High School. She received the J.C. Penney Volunteer Award in 1998. She belonged to the Braddock and Napoleon Senior Citizen Clubs. She was a member of the Schmidt "VIP" Ladies Singing Group. They have entertained at the Senior Care Center and several various gatherings over the years. In 2004 Carol moved from the Braddock farm to the Napoleon Assisted Living Apartments. Carol was pleased to have shared her life with her loving husband Frank, who passed away in 2003 after 56 years of marriage. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
