Albert "Al" K. Pyle
Albert K. Pyle, 83, formerly of West Fargo and Grand Forks, passed away in Yuma, AZ on January 15, 2013. He was born Feb. 26th, 1929 to Kenneth and Isabelle Pyle and graduated from West Fargo High School in 1947. In 1948 he married Shirley Egeland of West Fargo and they had four children. In 1974 he married Mary C. Anderson of Grand Forks. In 1984 Al and Mary moved to Yuma for the weather and the golf. They had many wonderful trips in their RV with friends from the Grand Forks and Fargo area. During his working career he was a farmer, printer, and businessman. He loved golf, fishing and hunting and was a proud member of the Elks Lodge in Grand Forks and Yuma.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary; brothers, Joe, Keith, and Ernie; sisters Gladys Diede, May McLeod, and Esther Byl. He leaves behind his children, Steven (Sandi) Pyle of Eddyville, KY; Linda (Paul) Martodam of Rosemount, MN; John (Pattie) Pyle of St. Cloud, MN; and Janice "JJ" (John) Meyer of Fargo; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters Delores Thoms of West Fargo; Mary Buhr of Frazee, MN; special friend Mary Klausing of Yuma; former wife Shirley Omlid of Fargo.
