The visitation will be from 4:00-8:00PM with prayer service will be at 7:00PM, Sunday, June 30, at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge and again one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Father Stan Wieser will be officiating. The interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Brushvale, MN with full military honors.

Mark "Whitey" as he was fondly referred to by family and friends, was born to Henry and Mary (Thuente) Nordick in Kent, MN where he grew up and attended school. After his schooling, he helped on the family farm until joining the US Army on July 19, 1951. He served in the Korean War conflict as a Radio Operator, specializing in Morris Code. After his discharge from the military July 1, 1953, Whitey returned home to work on the family farm.
