The funeral service for Marian Gerntholz, 76, Valley City, ND, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Valley City. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Sanborn, ND.

Visitation will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Valley City on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A prayer service will be held there beginning at 7:00.

Doris Junkin
Doris Madelyn Junkin, 74, of Moorhead, MN died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, North Dakota.

Doris was born on May 24, 1939 to Floyd and Adeline Junkin. She attended Central High School in Fargo, ND and graduated in 1957. After graduation she received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. She worked as an LPN in Jamestown, North Dakota from 1958-1966. In 1966 she moved to Fargo to continue working as an LPN at Dakota Hospital in the pediatric department until 1981. Doris became a nursing assistant and worked in various nursing homes around the area until about 2000. Doris later worked in the housekeeping department at Riverview Place of Fargo from 2000-2004.
