Born Sept. 14, 1950 in Highland Park Ill. to Hilmer (Red) and Maryann Schweigert. He passed on to be with the Lord on April 21, 2013. He grew up on a resort in Lincoln, MN., graduated from Motley High School in Motley, MN. He then joined the army and was a member of the 101st Airborne when he served two tours in Vietnam. When he returned from the war he went through a rebellious time. He then went back to a trade that his father taught him, welding and iron work. He worked the Dakotas and Minnesota as an Iron Worker. He married Marsha Mayaski, to this union they had a son. They later divorced. He then met and married the love of his life, Brandy.
