Former North Dakota Governor, William L. "Bill" Guy, 93, of Fargo, ND, died of Alzheimer disease, on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Eventide at Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND. Bill was elected to four terms as Governor and served from 1961 to 1973.
William Lewis Guy was born September 30, 1919, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, son of William L. and Mable (Leet) Guy.

On Saturday, with that same Moorhead park under water, the brothers from Maple Grove, Minn., got a lesson in community service in south Fargo, tossing sandbags instead of Frisbees to help protect strangers against spring flooding.
