Arlene Gilje, 84, Wyndmere, ND passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 7, at 1:00 PM at Wyndmere Lutheran Church with Rev. Harvey Henderson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Arlene was born on September 2, 1928 to John and Olda (Farup) Ostern in Delamere, ND. She attended school in Wyndmere and graduated from High School in 1946. Arlene went on to attend NDSCS in Wahpeton and got her degree and worked as a secretary for Pioneer Mutual Insurance Co. in Fargo.
