Mary was born April 17, 1934 in Fargo to John and Gladys (LaVoi) Conway. She grew up in Fargo where she attended St. Mary’s and Shanley, where she graduated from in 1952. Mary worked at a nursery school and at the Broadway Jack & Jill.
