Hypothermia cause of 6-year-old Bemidji girl's death, name still withheld
BEMIDJI, Minn. – A 6-year-old Bemidji girl found dead Thursday morning died of hypothermia due to exposure to frigid conditions, according to a provisional report issued Friday by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Paul.

Irene M. Hehr
Irene Hehr, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Villa Maria Nursing Home, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Irene Martha Hehr was born March 8, 1925 in rural Kulm, ND to August and Maria (Kalmbach) Hehr. She attended school in Pomona View Township, school #4, and in 1935 moved to Kulm with her parents where she finished elementary school and graduated from high school in 1943. She taught rural school near Fredonia for two years and was employed at Anderson Store and Peoples Store in Kulm.
