DILWORTH – Entrepreneurs have a shot at free land here if they can convince the city their business would be a good fit for the community.
City leaders are requesting business proposals for the lot on the 100 block of Center Avenue in downtown Dilworth.
DILWORTH – The police chief here says he won’t resign and lashed out against his officers who had issued a “vote of no confidence” against him Monday night.
Officers here attempted to present a letter to the City Council on Monday, asking Josh Ebert to resign and detailing several complaints against the chief, who started the job March 1.
MOORHEAD – A Dilworth man accused of stabbing an acquaintance in the back last week when both of them were drunk told police the victim fell backward onto the knife and it was an accident, court records show.
DILWORTH – Police say a man suspected of stabbing a woman in the street outside a mobile home here early Monday turned himself in at the Dilworth Police Department at about 2 p.m. after an investigator contacted him by phone.
