My father raised buckwheat on one of our fields, but I did not know it wasn’t a grain until I was in college. It is actually related to rhubarb. The only buckwheat we had at home was buckwheat pancakes made with buckwheat flour, so my ignorance was understandable.

We all know those moms and dads who go completely overboard with graduation open house party planning. When little Susie or Johnny graduates, they spare no expense to make sure her/his food is the best.
FARGO – JT Cigarro is bringing a touch of seafood to the North Dakota prairie. A few weeks ago, the bar opened its new JT Cigarro Grille & Lounge, which includes the area’s only oyster and martini bar. On the menu are unique offerings such as raw oysters but also plenty of other regular grill options.
As I wandered around our (finally) snow-free backyard, I had the urge to get my hands dirty. Our three dogs already had accomplished getting their paws muddy in our soggy backyard as they scampered playfully, nipping at each other’s heels. We all needed a little time outdoors to romp in the sunlight.
