Montplaisir, a two-time all-state quarterback at Shanley, verbally committed to Minnesota State Moorhead on Wednesday.

MOORHEAD – The Minnesota State Moorhead football team watched a 27-point lead dwindle away, as the University of Mary rallied to tie the game after the Dragons lost their starting quarterback to an injury.
But in the end, the Dragons players emerged with the Paddle Trophy for the first time.
CROOKSTON, Minn. – Minnesota-Crookston’s Talo Pascal caught a 12-yard touchdown pass with 31 seconds left in the third quarter, which proved to be what the Golden Eagles needed in a win over Minnesota State Moorhead on Saturday.
The old adage “practice makes perfect” might not always hold true. But Minnesota State Moorhead’s head football coach can’t help but notice the change in sophomore quarterback Jake Hodge’s practice habits and how it has coincided with improved play.
