FARGO – When North Dakota State athletic director Gene Taylor first heard the dollar amount that the University of Wyoming was offering a head coach, he knew there would be no chance for the Bison to match it.
So Taylor didn’t even try.
NEW YORK – Florida State redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston, the overwhelming favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, was one of six players invited to Saturday’s ceremony, the Heisman Trust announced Monday.
FARGO – If North Dakota State keeps winning and the successor to Craig Bohl is determined sooner rather than later, the Bison could find themselves in an uncommon position: Having a head coach who is already signed to be the next Wyoming coach, Bohl, while having their next head coach waiting for the season to get over before taking control.

FARGO - North Dakota State athletic director Gene Taylor said Sunday afternoon that Craig Bohl will coach the NDSU football team the rest of the season, capping an emotional, topsy-turvy weekend that will rival any in Bison football history for drama.
BALTIMORE – In one of the most frantic, final two minutes in franchise history, Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco found rookie wide receiver Marlon Brown on a 9-yard pass with four seconds left to give the Ravens a 29-26 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Craig Bohl is in Laramie this afternoon and about to accept the head coaching job for the Wyoming Cowboys. It’s an FBS school, but it is also one that will pay him somewhere around $1.5 million plus perks that us curmudgeons could only dream about. That according to folks close to the program in Laramie.
