FARGO – The Federal Emergency Management Agency has agreed to help cover the cost of buying another 26 flood-damaged homes in Cass County, North Dakota’s congressional delegation announced this morning.
The Fargo City Commission tonight will be asked to approve more than $28 million in bonds to provide more money for the city’s flood buyout program and other flood protection projects on the fast track.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a construction company a $1.8 million contract to remove clay put atop Valley City dikes earlier this year to provide extra protection against Sheyenne River flooding.
FARGO – Funds raised by the sales of the DVD “Fargo Flood 2009 – A View from the Blue,” will be distributed to both the Salvation Army and EVAC member Shawn O’Donnell today at the Fargo Police Department.
