Cass County Sheriff’s Office likely to install barriers
FARGO – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office will likely install bollards or planters as a barrier in front of the county jail after a 59-year-old man crashed a car through the facility’s front doors Friday, the second such incident in recent years.
FARGO – The Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo police departments and the sheriff’s offices in Cass and Clay counties, with the assistance of the Safe Communities Coalition, conducted alcohol compliance checks Wednesday.
FARGO - Big changes may be coming for the city’s public elementary schools, particularly on the north side.
Members of the school board’s ad hoc long-term facilities planning committee met this week to consider the possibility of closing several aging, undersized or outdated elementary schools in the next decade. They would be replaced with fewer – but modern – buildings, based on recommendations from school facilities experts at ICS Consulting.
