FARGO – Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp unveiled her first campaign ad this morning, joining her competitors, Republicans Duane Sand and Rep. Rick Berg, who’ve been on the air since February.
Heitkamp’s 30-second ad offers a personal pitch from the Mantador, N.D., native – showcasing her rural roots and her seven siblings.
I was not at all surprised to see former North Dakota attorney general Heidi Heitkamp officially beg out of running for the U.S. Senate this year against the presumed Republican candidate, Gov. John Hoeven.
Though some North Dakota Democrats are disappointed she’s not running, they say the door is open for others
